Wyoming is a state in the western United States. It is bordered on the by Montana to the north, South Dakota and Nebraska to the east, Colorado to the south, Utah to the southwest, and Idaho to the west. It became the 44th state on July 10, 1890.

The majority of the state is dominated by the mountain ranges and rangelands of the Rocky Mountain West, while the easternmost section of the state includes part of a high elevation prairie region known as the High Plains. While the tenth largest U.S. state by area, Wyoming is the least populous.

Wyoming in "The Green Buffalo"Edit

In the Cretaceous period, modern-day Wyoming was the home of several species of dinosaur, including Torosaurus. Fossils of the extinct species were found in the late 19th century. Due to a rip in the fabirc of time, a Torosaur was brought into the year 1890, where it was promptly hunted and killed by a hunting party led by Joe, who mistakenly believed the dinosaur was a green and diseased buffalo.

Wyoming in Joe SteeleEdit

Wyoming was one of several sparsely populated states President Joe Steele sent convicted "wreckers" to during his second term.[1]

Wyoming in SupervolcanoEdit

As the epicenter of the eruption of the Yellowstone Supervolcano, Wyoming was the hardest hit state by the initial eruption and the subsequent ash and debris thrown into the air. A state of emergency was declared in Wyoming not long after the eruption.[2] It was unclear just how many people actually survived even weeks after the event.[3]

Hanover was a large province in the North American Union. It was named after the Kingdom of Hanover, a small German nation-state that shared a Head of State with the United Kingdom from 1714 until 1837. Hanover Province bordered Disraeli, Albertus, Washington, Mississippi, Missouri, Cranmer, and Phoenix.

Literary CommentEdit

Along with taking up all of OTL Wyoming, Hanover also takes up eastern Montana, southwestern South Dakota, eastern Colorado, and Nebraska north of the Platte River.[4]

Wyoming in WorldwarEdit

Sam Yeager married Barbara Larssen in Chugwater, Wyoming while part of a caravan fleeing the Race's Conquest Fleet in 1943.
