Harding died in 1923, before he'd completed his first term. His presidency is remembered for its corruption, and Harding's inability to stop it. Indeed, even Harding admitted he was not fit for the office.

- Upton Sinclair, a historical author and activist, who served as the 29th President of the United States in the Southern Victory. Like Harding, Sinclair was first elected in 1920. Unlike Harding, Sinclair survived his first term, and was re-elected in 1924.
