Vilcabamba Ruins
Vilcabamba was a city founded by Manco Inca in 1539 and was the last refuge of the Inca Empire until it fell to the Spanish in 1572, signaling the end of Inca resistance to Spanish rule.

Vilcabamba in "Vilcabamba"Edit

On the eve the United States' final uprising against the Krolp, President Harris Moffatt III's Secretary of Alien Affairs shared with Moffatt the history of the Inca and their last refuge of Vilcabamba. Moffatt responded glibly that the U.S. had lasted a decade longer than the Inca had, but frequently thought of Vilcabamba as the resistance failed and he and his wife Jessica were forced into exile in the Krolp's North American capital of St. Louis, Missouri.
