Tunisia officially the Tunisian Republic or the Republic of Tunisia is the northernmost country in Africa, covering 165,000 square kilometers (64,000 sq miles). Its northernmost point, Ras ben Sakka, is the northernmost point on the African continent. It is bordered by Algeria to the west, Libya to the southeast, and the Mediterranean Sea to the north and east. As of 2013, its population is estimated at just under 10.8 million. Its name is derived from its capital city, Tunis, which is located on the country's northeast coast, close to the ancient city of Carthage.

Tunisia fell to Italy following France's defeat in the Second World War. It remained part of the Italian Empire into the 21st century.

Tunisia in Joe SteeleEdit

In 1942, German forces retreated to Tunisia after U.S. General Omar Bradley led a landing of U.S. and British troops in North Africa and drove the Germans out of Egypt through Libya. The plan had called for a complete capture of German troops.[1]

Tunsia in WorldwarEdit

Tunsia (along with the rest of Africa) fell to the Race during their invasion of the Earth in 1942. It was recognised as a Race colony after the Peace of Cairo in 1944.[2]
