The identity of Theodore Roosevelt's Vice President in Southern Victory is one of Harry Turtledove's most glaring inconsistencies. In the course of the series, Turtledove provided this individual two names, "Kennan" and "McKenna". Kennan is introduced as he is sworn in for his second term in Breakthroughs.^[1] However, Vice President McKenna, an "amiable non-entity who was almost as fat as Congressman Taft" appears in Blood and Iron.^[2]

While certain of Turtledove's inconsistencies can be resolved with some creativity, for the purposes of this Wiki the facts available make a coherent article essentially impossible.
