The War That Came Early is an alternate history series by Harry Turtledove, which begins with the failure of the Munich Conference in 1938, and leads to World War II beginning in Europe a full year earlier.

The first volume, Hitler's War, was published in August, 2009. The name of the overall series was not released until after the publication of Hitler's War.

The second volume of the series, The War That Came Early: West and East will be published in July, 2010.
