Incredibles

The Incredibles is a 2004 American Academy Award-winning computer-animated feature film written and directed by Brad Bird, and produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. It centers around an average suburban family who just happen to be secret superheroes. It also has an undercurrent of alternate history.

Eduardo Caruso carried The Incredibles on his minicomputer. While in an alternate in which the Soviet Union won the Cold War, he showed it to Annarita Crosetti, who'd never seen anything like it. Caruso assured her that the film was rather primitive, having been made over 90 years prior.

The film gave Annarita some insight into the middle-class existence of Caruso's home timeline. It also helped spark a debate between the two about which world had more to offer.[1]
