The Boston Globe in Southern Victory Edit

When George Enos and his fellow fishermen returned to Boston Harbor after a long cruise at sea, they noticed the excited atmosphere in the city. Enos bought a copy of The Boston Globe with a couple of pennies which he found in his coveralls. From the paper he learned of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo, and of President Theodore Roosevelt's determination to take the United States into the imminent war at the side of Germany and Austria-Hungary.
