I'm thinking that the dragon and the axeman could both be characters. In the second hallucination, Ramirez gets some "static" from the real world which suggests that things are being directed much like the Avatar Operator did with Dmitri Gomez. What do you think? ML4E 01:32, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

About the characters? Sure, why not? If a POV character hallucinates, I see no problem with making entities he meets therein hallucinations. If we had a proper set of EIaK articles, I'd make the talking cat a character. If we had a proper set of Elabon articles, I'd make the . . . manifestations? . . . Gerin encountered when he accompanied his gods into some weird non-dimension to offer the Gradi pantheon battle. If we had a proper set of BtR articles, I'd make the weirdos Sharur ran into during his NDE fever into articles. If Krispos had run into anybody unnatural while his head was swimming after he drank the narcotic mixture to help himself remember the secret pathway into Kubrat, I'd make them articles. I did make Lion God and Thunderer articles; their only appearances in the Detina series came when Bell "met" them, and given the fact that Bell was a) doped up and b) a goddamned moron who proved wholly unworthy of the high rank the gods supposedly promised him, I'm inclined to believe they were hallucinations. Of course I would have made them articles whether they'd appeared or not--I like to write about gods. Turtle Fan 04:14, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Good enough. I'm also considering doing articles for the various avatars that appear. Most have a one paragraph description like the one I included here in the Ramirez article. I haven't done this systematically in the various POV articles because some are just atmosphere rather than advancing the plot. They would fit in individual articles though. I think with the avatars it might be best to do like NAU states or American wars in DUSA: a list with a short description of each one, and seperate articles for any who somehow played a unique role. Turtle Fan 22:17, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

This story is written in more the style of the actual story, rather than a article on the story. Zhukov15 (talk) 02:32, December 17, 2013 (UTC)

It is. I haven't read the story so I don't trust myself to correct it. Turtle Fan (talk) 20:43, December 17, 2013 (UTC)
True. I have that problem, of being too verbose, especially with short story POVs. Not sure what (if anything) should be done. ML4E (talk) 16:47, December 21, 2013 (UTC)
