- No, New World has not been used, but conceptually they are similar enough that I didn't see any point in creating a separate article. A sectional redirect seemed enough to me. But we can create a new article. TR 16:18, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- It being here isn't really objectionable, I just wasn't sure it's the right fit because it's identified as the North and South American continents and the various islands of the Caribbean, the Gulf, and the western Atlantic. If it's going to stay, though, I fear Terranova alone isn't the equivalent of these things; we should also include Atlantis and what little we know of the other features of the region, such as the excellent cod fishing--reminiscent of the Grand Bank of that era, in which case the Basques most likely did indeed know something of Atlantis before the Bretons.
