I have a copy of GotS. In the next few weeks, I'll expand on this article. There certainly is a lot that needs to be done without going through it with a fine tooth comb like we did with TL-191. ML4E 03:04, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Good work, ML4E! We're at 5000! Turtle Fan 03:23, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Thank-you, thank-you very much. ML4E 03:59, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Shit, and then I go and fuck it up. What did I do wrong? Turtle Fan 03:31, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

You need to use the correct template. I'd guess the older one you used here has different attributes which screws up the formatting. ML4E 03:59, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
I thought I was taking from the one to which is connected the talk page on which we've been recently yakking. Having so many templates floating around may not be best, though. Turtle Fan 11:49, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
We're going to phase out the old template, and replace with two separate templates for historicals and fictionals. I have left the old template in place, however, until we can get the historical up and running. In the meantime, the fictional is ready to go. TR 15:54, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh, this is all confusing. Turtle Fan 20:01, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Sweet TF! Did you find a reference for Caudell or did you put the OTL section together from his GotS background? ML4E 23:30, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

No OTL references to Caudell. One to the 47th North Carolina; it had next to nothing, but at least it told me when the regiment was created. The rest I extrapolated from what HT wrote in the afterword to the novel; unlike TL-191, this one was thoroughly researched. Turtle Fan 03:35, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Wasn't it Benny Lang? I seem to recall him saying something like "small world" after he recognized Caudell as a soldier he had trained on the AK-47. ML4E (talk) 22:45, October 6, 2015 (UTC)
