We let this one be a sad one-sentence POS for WAY too long. Montreal wasn't hugely important in either work, but still, there was obviously enough for a good article. TR 19:40, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- POS is "Piece Of Shit," I take it?
- Anyway, well done. It does bear a rather decent short article.
- I recall Goldfarb detained on arrival but I didn't remember that it had involved ginger. I don't recall him smuggling ginger, either, and if he did, what was it to the Mounties? Ginger was legal in Canada, wasn't it?
- In reference to his Roundbush-inspired jaunt to France in SC. TR 19:59, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh--right. When Roundbush was turning on him.
- Still not sure why the Mounties would care about that. Ginger was legal in Canada, in the UK, and in the GGR. Turtle Fan 20:03, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- One who would smuggle ginger might smuggle other things? TR 20:22, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- True. Might also have connections to crime lords. Turtle Fan 20:44, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Montreal--I spent two days there once as part of a bit of a junket that also included the Hall of Fame and Niagara. Both were more interesting than Montreal. I had heard the latter described as the most beautiful city on the continent. It's certainly the most European place I've ever seen outside of Europe. Beauty? Maybe, but I could really take it or leave it. And it's an exasperating place to get around. Turtle Fan 19:52, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
