Gee, I wonder what state that flag goes with. Here we're at the opposite end of the spectrum that begins with Maryland. Turtle Fan 19:46, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

The image seems like an afterthought, subordinate to the name "Montana". TR 20:01, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
True. Helpful if one were playing some sort of "match the flag to the state" game.
Which reminds me--Your reaction to the MD flag had me thinking, Surely he's seen this flag before. . . . Living in a state not far from MD I see it all the time. I suppose it's a regional thing, isn't it. You might be surprised by my unfamiliarity with the flags of your neighborhood; of states bordering CO, I can only call up NM's flag offhand.
I found that mildly interesting. Turtle Fan 20:06, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
I'm sure I have seen it, but I never paid any attention to it. Of course, now it's firmly entrenched in my mind.
But I agree with your mild interest. Aside from some big distinct ones (CA, FLA, TX etc) I know the flags of the states neighboring CO and....that's it. TR 20:13, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
Let me think--NJ, NY, PA, MD, VA, OH (another distinctive one), TX, NM, CA, HI, and now MT. There is indeed a regional tilt there. Turtle Fan 20:19, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
