The reference in the first paragraph of the S.V. sub-section is to the page where Grady talks about the Japanese ambush fleet sailed from Manila. There is nothing about how or when it was taken from the Spanish. The last sentence about Spanish soldiers being tortured seems speculative. I will skim through GW: AF for references.
