It appears to have happened. Menachem Begin appears to have been the ultimate mastermind, as he was against some sort of peace accord between West Germany and Israel. Adenauer, canny fellow that he was, kept a lid on it, which Ben Guirion appreciated. TR 02:34, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
