Given how insubstantial this article is (and one or two others I've come across so), perhaps we need a catch-all "Minor Fictional Characters in the Short Works of Harry Turtledove". (Perhaps a less cumbersome title is in order.) TR 21:09, June 12, 2012 (UTC)
- "Miscellaneous Short Story Minor Characters?" Turtle Fan 00:56, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
- Only potential problem I see is that it might get unwieldy large. E.g. one or two characters each from several dozen stories would add up. ML4E 19:56, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, that could be an issue. One alternative would be to focus on the stories that have their own character categories. That would focus us on only a couple dozen, so the article would be less unwieldy. (The other alternative I came up with, a Minor Characters page for each individual story, stirkes me as a series of articles that would replace another series of articles.)
- I guess shorter works will often lead to a lot of minor characters, so leaving well-enough alone is a viable option for the moment. TR 16:36, June 14, 2012 (UTC)

I've found a reference that Kate is Willie's wife, not just his girlfriend. In light of that, it might be best to delete Kate as a character and just leave "spouse = Kate" in Willie's infobox, since nothing about Kate is ever revealed.JonathanMarkoff (talk) 10:29, January 14, 2019 (UTC)
