Did he do something in TL-191? I seem to recall some speculation that he made an unnamed cameo in IatD. Or am I thinking of Stassen?

Wow, two vice presidential candidates from the same state--There's something you don't see every day. Turtle Fan 21:50, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Could be both. I vaguely recall a reference to a pharamcist from Minn wanting to move to Occupied Canada in one 191 book. That would be Humphrey, right? TR 22:07, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Ok, found it. The main wiki is good for something. In AE:TVO "The pharmacist who was supposed to come up [to Rosenfeld] had got cold feet." TR 23:16, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Sounds like I've been made a victim of the Logic of Ten Gizzis. Turtle Fan 23:56, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Wait, he really was a pharmacist? Oh shit! Turtle Fan 23:58, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Yes. I wasn't fucking with you. TR 03:54, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
I thought maybe you were using your famous sarcasm. Turtle Fan 04:56, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

48 states or 50?[]

I edited this last night because it said that Humphrey only got 11 states out of 50. Then I realized we have the US with only 48 in WW. When I did some amazon reviewing, what I actually found was that Warren took 39 states, but no concrete numbers for Humphrey. Nor could I verify whether or not the US had 48 or 50 states (or 49 or 51, for that matter). TR 17:11, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I can't think of any references to how many states they had. 39 of 48 would mean Humphrey only got 9 (this math lesson brought to you by . . . ) That sounds hard to believe . . . till you look at the OTL 1964 map and see only six states going against the grain. I wonder if HT meant to invoke that by doling out such a one-sided victory. And then making the landslidingly reelected President do something so unpopular that he forfeited his party's massive advantage and set up his successor as party's candidate for an ass-kicking. A little bit of Johnson, a little bit of Nixon. . . . Turtle Fan 19:35, April 21, 2010 (UTC)
That fits the HT pattern, at any rate. I shall do some more searching. Liu Han does wind up in Hawaii, but I can't find anything that says if Hawaii is a state or a territory. TR 20:57, April 21, 2010 (UTC)
