Just the other day I was surprised to learn in a daily fun fact kind of thing that the Missouri is longer than the Mississippi. So maybe Great River should have been used as the analog for that state instead, though as Missouri did not secede, it's obviously meant as Missisdippi. Turtle Fan (talk) 20:45, June 7, 2013 (UTC)

Hmm,kingdom is a substitute country.Very democratic.76.69.65.161 20:52, June 7, 2013 (UTC)Zhukov15

Monarchy and democracy are not incompatible. Look at the Commonwealth Realms or Japan. Hell, look at Thailand; in 1992 the king pulled the rug out from under the would-be leader of a military junta and publicly shamed him into swearing allegiance to an elected civilian PM.
That being said, a democratic constitutional monarchy Detina is not. HT apparently feels absolute monarchy fits a fantasy world better than a federal republic would. In this case it produces certain . . . oddities, like the Joseph Brown analog holding the title of satrap, a title which is held purely at the royal pleasure.
