Maybe this should go to lit refs too, since it's pretty irrelevant to the story. It could be interchanged with any sufficiently wacky movie for Harlan to watch, and the plot wouldn't change. However, Frankenstein is important to keep because it makes Harlan realize what his life has become and what monster the Nazis have created.JonathanMarkoff (talk) 19:13, April 16, 2016 (UTC)

I'm inclined to agree. TR (talk) 19:33, April 16, 2016 (UTC)
Our new parameters seem to favor deleting this but keeping Frankenstein.JonathanMarkoff (talk) 22:28, July 25, 2016 (UTC)

Move to references page?[]

This can probably be moved to references, since there's nothing specific about BUB that is relevant to understanding a plot or character in SD. By contrast, Frankenstein (1931 film) is what causes Harlan to have an epiphany and reevaluate what his life has become, so it should stay. We figured out last year that we don't need a separate article for every book or movie that HT's characters read or watch. E.g., "The Man Without a Country" was deleted from Worldwar, and The Mill on the Floss was deleted from Supervolcano. Talk:Toy Story.JonathanMarkoff (talk) 18:11, March 11, 2017 (UTC)
