Does anybody know how to describe General Hesmucet's march through Veldt.I'm really confused.In our world,General Sherman(on whom Hesmucet is based on) marched through Georgia.In this universe,Georgia(or its Detinan equivalent) is already conquered!So what should I put in the article about the March Through Veldt?
- Veldt is Savannah; both words refer to kinds of grasslands, though I don't know the nuances of when to use one or tbe other. Savannah, GA was the terminus of the March to the Sea and the point at which Sherman reestablished contact with his superiors. Veldt of course plays the same role; it's a portion of the overall campaign. I'd say give it a section of the article you've already written on the March to the Western Ocean, rather than its own article. Turtle Fan (talk) 23:50, June 5, 2013 (UTC)

Well, if anyone is interested in checking it out, I was able to create an article for the novel Advance and Retreat over on Wikipedia yesterday.
