Hmm--I was about to put this into the new Omnibus category, to keep The Tale of Krispos company till I get around to writing stubs for Wisdom- and Tale of the Fox. I'd forgotten it was already in Collections. (That's what happens when you don't pay the bills, I suppose.) Now Kaleidoscope is a collection, but I'm not sure whether 3xT (lame title, by the way) fits the bill in the same way. On the other hand, I'm not sure it's an omnibus, either. My standards for omnibus, as stated in the category, are containing two or more full-length books, be they novels or anthologies, and containing no previously-unpublished material. Now however I'm thinking it might be best to add another condition, that the books contained in the omnibus be thematically linked: all the Krispos books, all the Gerin books, etc. Turtle Fan 05:05, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

I agree re: thematic link. TR 14:41, October 23, 2009 (UTC)
All right. Throwing two or more books together at random (which is what this one does) and calling it an omnibus does seem a bit like false aggrandizement. Turtle Fan 19:00, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

"lame title, by the way" - I believe this is an allusion to a Heinlein fantasy short story collection "6 X H". Given 3xT contains 6+, that might be the inspiration. Another entry in Heinlein's section of influences? ML4E 21:14, September 29, 2011 (UTC)
