Sydney is a city situated on Australia’s south-east coast and is the most populated city on the continent. It is the state capital of New South Wales, and was the site of the first British colony in Australia. It was established in 1788 at Sydney Cove.
In 1944, the Race destroyed Sydney with an explosive-metal bomb so as to finally break the stiff resistance the Race was facing from the Australian military. The destruction of Sydney and its sister city, Melbourne, decimated Australia's population, allowing the Race to colonise it heavily.
