The Stour River was the British name for a river in Atlantis. The French called it the Erdre River. Prior to a mid 18th century global conflict, the river formed the border between English and French Atlantis. Roland Kersauzon launched his offensive against English forces by seizing a bridge over the Stour/Erdre.
With Britain victorious, the river ceased to be a border, and was more widely called the Stour.
