Lindley Armstrong "Spike" Jones (December 14, 1911 - May 1, 1965) was a popular American musician and bandleader specializing in performing satirical arrangements of popular songs.

During the Race Invasion of Tosev 3, Spike Jones recorded one of his most famous songs: "The Fleetlord's Face", a humorous swipe at Fleetlord Atvar. Even members of the Race found humor in the song, especially Lizards living in the United States. Exiled Shiplord Straha, for example, enjoyed the song primarily because it attacked his old rival Atvar.
