Type of Appearance: Direct
Nationality: Roman Republic

Sextus Minucius was a Roman legionary attached to one of the three cohorts commanded by Marcus Scaurus during a "reconnaissance in force" in Gaul. He had been wounded by a spear thrust in the belly piercing his gut during a battle with attacking Gauls but was transported to to Videssos sometime in year Zero+1200 along with the rest of the surviving Romans. The physician Gorgidas did what he could but he was not expected to survive.

However, Minucius lasted long enough to be carried by litter to Imbros. There Apsimar, a priest of Phos, placed his hands on either side of the wound and a "flow of healing" came. The magic left Minucius with a white and puckered scar to the left of his navel but well healed. He announced he was hungry in a matter-of-fact voice and had no memory of his injury.[1]
