The Sanguine Club was a group of five vampires secretly living in London. In 1888, they learned of a sixth vampire, a vicious creature who'd been committing violent murders under the name of Jack the Ripper. Despite the efforts of the Club to calm him and integrate him into their ranks, Jack would have none of it. Fearing that his actions would reveal them to the city, the Sanguine Club patrolled the streets of Whitechapel nightly, until they finally captured him in November 1888. Rather than destroy him, the Club buried him the foundation of Tower Bridge.
