Rose Kennedy in Southern Victory

Rose Kennedy was a devout Irish-Catholic. She supported her ambitious husband and quietly tolerated his many extra-marital affairs.

She once baby-sat George Enos, Jr. and his sister Mary Jane so that their mother, Sylvia, could join her husband at a Democratic Party fundraiser.[1] While they were out, Joe propositioned Sylvia, but she refused him.[2]

Rose Kennedy's son Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. was a US fighter pilot during the Second Great War.
