Rockville is the seat Montgomery County, and the third-largest incorporated city in Maryland, behind Baltimore and Frederick. It forms part of the BaltimoreWashington, DC metropolitan area. The 2010 census tabulated the Rockville's population at 61,209.

Rockville in The Guns of the SouthEdit

Rockville was the site of a battle toward the end of the Second American Revolution. Union artillery were unable to resist invasion by Confederate troops, including the 47th North Carolina, who were on their final drive into Washington City.[1]
