Rita Martin (b. c. 1895) was the wife of Chester Martin and the mother of Carl Martin. She lost her first husband Joe Habicht in the Great War, and married Chester and moved to Los Angeles afterwards. When Chester announced he was enlisting to fight in the Second Great War, she became angry with him, accusing him of not caring about her or their son.
Despite her concerns, Chester returned from the war in one piece, and resumed his duties as a labor leader.
