Pueblo in Supervolcano Edit
When Vanessa Ferguson fled Denver after the Yellowstone Supervolcano erupted, she stopped in Pueblo, Colorado to fuel up and change the air filter on her car. She was gouged for both, paying 10 dollars a gallon and 50 dollars for the filter but paid willingly to be able to continue travelling east.
The gas station attendant wore swimming goggles in addition to a dust mask to keep out the ash the volcano had thrown into the air. He directed Ferguson to a nearby Walgreens when she asked about them. She went across the street and bought both, still at list price. She also saw a gun shop where she purchased a snub-nosed .38 revolver for protection.
