. It is the land, air, and water transportation hub of British Columbia's north coast, and home to some 12,815 people.
Prince Rupert was a port city in the northern part of the province of Vancouver, near the border with Russian Alaska. It was here that Colonel Thomas Bushell, along with his companions, took the ferry Northern Lights to Skidegate on the Queen Charlotte Islands. After finishing his investigation on the QCIs, Bushell returned to the mainland via Prince Rupert.
