The Pre-Emption House is a house built in 1834 in Naperville, Illinois. It is the first hotel to have been built west of Chicago. Its name derives from the Pre-Emption Act of 1841, a law which aided settlement in previously unclaimed lands in the west.

Pre-Emption House in Worldwar Edit

The Pre-Emption House was set alight by the Race.[1] Mutt Daniels witnessed its burning. At the time it was "the only building still standing in Naperville", but more importantly (to Daniels), it was the town's leading saloon before the Race Invasion of Tosev 3.[2]
