Point Pelee Island, Ontario, is an island in the western half of Lake Erie. Point Pelee Island is connected to the Canadian and United States mainland by ferry service. At 42 km², Point Pelee Island is the largest island in Lake Erie and the southernmost populated point in Canada. Nearby Middle Island is the southernmost point of land in Canada.

During the Second Great War, Major Jonathan Moss' squadron fought a wild melee against Confederate Razorbacks and their Hound Dog escorts near Point Pelee Island. Two Razorbacks and two Hound Dogs were shot down at a cost of two Wright-27s.
