Pliskavos was a town in northern Kubrat which lay across the Astris River from the country of Khatrish. When Kubrat was an independent nation, Pliskavos was the capital, by virtue of being the only real city in Kubrat. During the Kubrat War with the Empire of Videssos, the town was garrisoned by soldiers from Halogaland commanded by Harvas Black-Robe. Krispos, Avtokrator of Videssos, besieged the town and ultimately captured it, ending the war.
