Oman is an Islamic sultanate in the Middle East, on the Arabian Peninsula. In the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, Oman ruled an empire of considerable power and influence in the region. That empire declined in the 20th Century, and Oman was strongly influenced by both the United Kingdom and the United States.

Oman in WorldwarEdit

Oman joined the Allies at the outset of World War II. It was conquered by the Race's Conquest Fleet quickly after their 1942 invasion along with the rest of the Middle East.[1] It was recognized as a Race colony after the Peace of Cairo in 1944.
