Nieh Ho-Ting (Pinyin: Nie Heting) (1905-1971) was a member of the Chinese Communist Party and the People's Liberation Army during the Chinese Civil War, the Second Sino-Japanese War, and World War II. He served under Lin Biao as a division commander, and may have been a part of the Long March, and at some point achieved the rank of major general. In 1956, he was made a lieutenant general.

Nieh died in Bejing in 1971. What little material available in English suggests that he was a reliable devotee of Mao Tse-Tung.

Nieh Ho-Ting in WorldwarEdit

Nieh Ho-Ting (1905-????) was a People's Liberation Army officer in China who served as Lin Piao's Chief of Staff on the Long March. He was dedicated to the ideals of communism, and he greatly despised human collaborators who worked with the Race.

Nieh first became associated with Bobby Fiore in a detention camp for Tosevites set up by the Race's Conquest Fleet, where he convinced Fiore to put his baseball skills to use as a terrorist. Throughout Race-occupied China, Nieh organized terrorist bombings and other insurgency tactics. After Fiore died, Nieh became associated with Bobby's pregnant mate, Liu Han, and thus bore witness to her rise through the ranks of the Chinese Communist Party. He was intimate with her sporadically off and on through the years. He eventually became a general.
