Neo-Armalites were the main rifle of the United States Army infantry soldier in the 2030s replacing the M-16/M-4. While a typical Earth weapon, it greatly outclassed the Roxolan muzzle-loading black-powder muskets, both in accuracy and rate-of-fire. The need for Roxolani to remain standing and crouching in two rows to effectively use their weapons in mass volleys also made them vulnerable to human fire since the Neo-Armalites allowed human soldiers to lie down in cover.[1]
