Molotov is the Russian word for hammer. In the works of Harry Turtledove, it may refer to:

Vyacheslav Molotov (1890-1986), a historical Soviet politician and diplomat. He plays a POV role in most of the Worldwar series, appears as Vince Scriabin in the novel Joe Steele, and has smaller roles in several other works. In some he is only called "the Hammer".
Molotov cocktail, an improvized weapon wherein a flammable liquid and a cloth wick are placed into a breakable glass bottle. The wick is lit and thrown at a given target. The release of the liquid creates a fireball. The weapon had been in use for some time before being given the name "Molotov cocktail" by his Finnish enemies in the 1940s. In timelines where Molotov never gained notoriety, this weapon goes by an alternate name. In Southern Victory it is a Featherston Fizz, in "Occupation Duty" it is simply a gasoline filled bottle.
Molotov (ship), a starship named after Vyacheslav Molotov that appears in the Worldwar series.
