Mike Resnick (born March 5, 1942) is an American science fiction author, He collaborated with Harry Turtledove on the short story "Before the Beginning." Resnick has also edited three anthologies - Alternate Kennedys, Space Cadets, and This is My Funniest - which have included stories by Turtledove.
