Meg Fenner was the wife of Hugh Fenner, the master salter aboard the St. George. She was left a widow when Hugh was killed by a red-crested eagle on Atlantis. They already had five children and one on the way when Hugh died.
Hugh's captain, Edward Radcliffe, saw to it that Meg received Hugh's earnings from the trip. Meg decided to move her family to Atlantis. Years later, her grown daughter Lucy was forcefully taken as the Earl of Warwick's mistress.
