Meg Fenner was the wife of Hugh Fenner, the master salter aboard the St. George.[1] She was left a widow when Hugh was killed by a red-crested eagle on Atlantis.[2] They already had five children and one on the way when Hugh died.[3]

Hugh's captain, Edward Radcliffe, saw to it that Meg received Hugh's earnings from the trip.[4] Meg decided to move her family to Atlantis.[5] Years later, her grown daughter Lucy was forcefully taken as the Earl of Warwick's mistress.[6]
