LaGG3

The Lavochkin-Gorbunov-Gudkov LaGG-3 was a Soviet fighter aircraft of World War II. It was a refinement of the earlier LaGG-1, and was one of the most modern aircraft available to the Soviet Air Force at the time of Germany's invasion in 1941.

LaGG-3 in Worldwar

The LaGG-3 had been famous for being constructed out of wood making it hard to detect by radar during World War II. When the Race arrived in mid 1942, the LaGG-3 was used to take on Lizard killercraft, but like the Mosquito, Lizard radar was more than capable of detecting it so the fighter didn't fare any better than other human built ones.
