Set in the Future
|Type of Appearance:||Direct POV|
Jennifer Logan was a scholar of ancient Earth science fiction some time in the late Thirtieth and early Thirty-First Centuries. Seeking to compare sci-fi authors' ideas of what life would be like for interstellar travellers with what it really turned out to be like, she signed on for several tours with interstellar trade freighters over a ten-year period. She had hoped to make enough personal profit to be able to endow her own chair of literature at a university on Earth.
During her stints as a trader, Logan's literary training provided her with the inspiration for several unconventional solutions to different species' social problems, which her crews were able to sell to client worlds.
