Jürgen Stroop was transferred to India in 1947. He congratulated Walther Model on his handling of protesters in Qutb Road. Model despised Stroop, and was disgusted with the lax behavior that had led to the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, although he shared none of this with Stroop.
