Imuris is a small village in northwest Sonora. It is located on the Magdelena River, about 40 miles south of Nogales. The town's economy is based on wheat, corn, cotton, alfalfa, and sugarcane.

Imuris in Southern Victory[]

At the start of the Great War, U.S. Army Captain Irving Morrell was injured in an ambush by Confederates outside of Imuris.[1]
