Idaho is a state in Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It borders Oregon and Washington to the west, Montana to the northeast, Wyoming to the east, and the Canadian province of British Columbia to the north. Idaho's state capital and largest city is Boise and it was admitted to the Union as the 43rd state on July 3, 1890.

Idaho in Southern Victory

During the Second Mexican War, former President-turned Socialist theorist Abraham Lincoln was ordered into exile in either Idaho or New Mexico for the duration of the war. Lincoln chose Idaho.

Idaho in Supervolcano

Idaho was badly hit when the Yellowstone Supervolcano erupted. Even though it was generally up-wind of the eruption, falling ash covered the state. No one was sure how many feet, but the U.S. wouldn't have the fleet of bulldozers and trucks to remove it.[1]

Idaho in Worldwar

During the Race Invasion of Tosev 3, the Race's Conquest Fleet were able to establish a base in Idaho. Jens Larssen passed through Idaho on his way to scout out Hanford, Washington as a possible site for the American atomic bomb project.[2]

The base was removed following the Peace of Cairo in 1944.

Literary Comment

Most of OTL Idaho is part of the North American Union province of Oregon, along with all of OTL Oregon, Washington, a small chunk of northwestern Nevada, and northwestern Montana. However, Disraeli controls the southeastern portion of the state along with OTL Utah, eastern Nevada, and western Colorado.[3]
