The Iceni were an ancient tribe who lived in what is now England. Queen Boudicca led the Iceni Revolt against Roman occupational authority in AD 60 and 61. The uprising failed but became a part of British lore.

The Iceni and their revolt were the inspiration for English playwright William Shakespeare's play Boudicca.
