The Hotel Ahgusweyo ("The Better Hotel") was a hotel in Doshoweh. Although constructed of concrete and stone, it was made to resemble an Iroquois longhouse. Its lobby was decorated with colourful dried ears of maize, war clubs, tobacco pipes and baskets and medicine masks made of dried ash splints. From the ceiling, a dugout canoe was hung with stout chains.[1]

During Colonel Thomas Bushell's investigation in The Six Nations of the theft of The Two Georges, he stayed at the Hotel Ahgusweyo. The presence of hommony in the hotel dining room outraged Bushell's right hand man Captain Samuel Stanley.[2]
