Hawthorne in The Case of the Toxic Spell DumpEdit

Hawthorne was the hometown of EPA investigator David Fisher.

Hawthorne in "King of All"Edit

Ralph Sandars was a detective with the Hawthorne Police Drug Squad. He lived in a one bedroom apartment in an older part of the town.

Hawthorne in SupervolcanoEdit

Hawthorne was the northern limit of the area of Los Angeles within which the South Bay Strangler committed his crimes.

About a year after the Yellowstone Supervolcano eruption, the South Bay towns were running low on gasoline for their municipal vehicles including police cars. Officials worked up a secret deal to get a large oil tanker shipment of crude into San Pedro and then transship it to El Segundo for refinement into gasoline for their sole use. Lt. Colin Ferguson of the San Atanasio PD led the team that escorted the crude oil tanker trucks across his jurisdiction and handed them over to the Hawthorne PD to escort the convoy across their town.[1]

Hawthorne in The Two GeorgesEdit

Colonel Thomas Bushell of the Royal American Mounted Police lived in a furnished flat in the suburban town of Hawthorne. While working-class and a bit rough, Bushell felt that a single man like himself didn't need fancier digs. He did make sure his neighbours didn't know what he did for a living.[2]
