Hillary Griffith's CPO was a grizzled old salt who commanded an electronic sensors room on the USS Rumsfeld. He grumbled to no one in particular that all the jamming and spoofing hadn't helped the real Rumsfeld. When Griffith asked who he was, the CPO replied he was the clown who sucked the U.S. into Iraq. Griffith felt foolish asking which time but felt better when the CPO wasn't sure and replied he thought it was the second time.
During a raid on Catalina Island to shell it, the CPO ordered Griffith to "sing like Timberlake" if her monitors acted even a little weird. However, nothing out of the ordinary was displayed when the Rumsfeld ran into a giant brick wall.
