The city of Grenada is the seat of Grenada County, Mississippi, United States. The population was 13,092 at the 2010 census.

Grenada was the site of one of Nathan Bedford Forrest's victories against Negro insurgents in 1864, following the armistice with the United States during the Second American Revolution.[1]
